Montezuma-Borrego Hwy (S22) Borrego Springs To Ranchita

An 11-mile route with an average grade of 6.1%. It features 29 turns with an elevation change of 3,468 feet. The dowhill ride is definitely more challenging than the uphill, but also more rewarding with better views of beautiful rock formations and surrounding desert mountains below. You can see all the way to the Salton Sea on a clear day. Motorcyclists should be prepared for the conditions, as it can be extremely hot during the summer months with temperatures approaching 110°, so dress accordingly for the season.
